‘Reset My Password’ is a great cut from a band well-acquainted with the UK’s currently glittering post-punk scene. Public Body have toured with the likes of Dry Cleaning and Squid and have clearly picked up a few things along the way. They demonstrate a unique and instantly recognisable sound that manages to bring an almost experimental aggression to beautifully produced, hugely melodic tracks. “At the height of Covid, everyone was clapping for NHS staff and key workers… and that got me thinking what my place is in all this mess,” explains Seb Gilmore. “I then logged onto my work computer and was advised by a popup that it was time to reset my password. So, I wrote a song about how pointless and useless my job is to the world when everything felt like it was breaking and seemed apocalyptic.” Check out their upcoming EP, Flavour Of Labour, due for release on March 4^th, 2022. -Dan Peeke
